Located in Auburn, N.Y., Auburn Metal Processing (AMP) operates a dense media metals separation plant to recover various ferrous and non-ferrous metals from mixed material streams. AMP purchases various material grades from scrap shredding operations and recovers recyclable metals that it then processes into finished grades including aluminum twitch, zorba, and heavies.

Those recovered metals are then sold to domestic and foreign consumers, reducing their reliance on the resource and energy intensive mining of virgin materials in metals manufacturing.
